Day 15…241.5 miles
Today, the Cowboys got an early start. They had a great night’s sleep, woke up a 6:00 am, had their breakfast and got on their way. They averaged their highest MPH yet and paddled 30 miles. The day was overcast, which made it a little on the cooler side. They said they saw the sun behind the cliffs but it never made its way to them.
The terrain is very picturesque with tall waterfalls and creeks. There are lots of cliffs and pods of seals, but no other wildlife.
Tomorrow, they’ll make their way to Victor Bay where they will be picked up and taken into Arctic Bay. They will resupply, recharge, relax, sleep, eat, send all of those pictures and then take off again on Friday.
